‘Siyazama’ is the Zulu word for ‘Strive’ and since its establishment in 2010, the company has consistently met with success in its endeavour to bridge the skills gap in South Africa and yield adult learners who are not only equipped with new skill sets but above all are motivated to effect change and bring about innovation in their respective industries thus creating opportunity for their fellow citizens as well as contributing to the economic growth of the country.
Siyazama is a 51% Black Woman Owned Enterprise, indicative of its commitment to participate in the transformation agenda. Its staff compliment range in specialisation to deliver in its two main areas of service, namely ‘Training’ and ‘Design and Development’. Siyazama is also in a position to provide Skills Development Facilitation Services.
The Enterprise has built itself off of its revolutionary methodology which addresses language barriers and low literacy levels through picture based training; translating course content; interpreting during the actual training event as well as incorporating interactive activities to ensure maximum retention of new knowledge learnt.

The Enterprise has successfully made significant contributions to the industry of Construction of High Voltage Transmission Lines through training as well as development of visual material for ABB; Eskom; Jyoti; Mkhulu Electro Distribution Projects; OptiPower and Trans Africa Projects, a testament also to the national footprint of the company.
